Doti Multiple Campus is the oldest higher education institution in far-west province. As pioneering academic institution of this area, it was established in 2017 B.S. just a year after the establishment of Tribhuvan University with pious aims of imparting knowledge of higher education to those who were socially, economically and educationally backward. Establishment of Doti Multiple Campus was great achievement of far west province. It was historical moment indeed to extend light of education. Since its founding period, it has been continuously providing quality education to produce skilled manpower in every sector of human development, encountering so many ups and downs.
The Strategies and plans of Doti Multiple Campus are based on developing the intuition enriched in academic and infrastructural aspects. Doti Multiple Campus should be developed as academic hub. Two under construction modern class buildings should be immediately completed. Teaching learning of tourism and journalism in the streams of Humanities are demand of this area which DMC should initiate in the near future. similarly, teaching learning of social studies in the stream of education urgent task to be fulfilled by Doti Multiple campus. Moreover, BBM, BBA, BSW and other market driven courses should be initiated for teaching learning in the near future. Extra-Curricular activities extension and outreach activities should be increased. Construction of multi-purpose sports ground is also immediate demand of the campus. The capacity with adding infrastructures. slowly and gradually, the campus should be developed as masters degree institution since it is located in district headquarter of Doti.
